Learning to speak, read, and write a second language will deepen your understanding of another culture and of your own language, thus enriching your life. You will study the modern standard or official version of Hungarian, as well as touching on regional dialects, which are part of the living Hungarian language. Competency in Hungarian will allow you to pursue careers in interpreting, translation, education, and health both in Australia and overseas. Stage 1 and Stage 2 Hungarian at continuers level is available to students who have studied Hungarian throughout secondary school.
