Assessment Type 1: Practical Action
The Health and Wellbeing practical action assessment type is assessed by the school.
- For a 10-credit subject, students undertake at least one practical action.
- For a 20-credit subject, students undertake at least two practical actions.
Students undertake action on an individual or community issue in order to improve health and wellbeing outcomes. This action may be undertaken individually or collaboratively and within the school environment or the wider community.
A practical action task should be a maximum of 1000 words if written or a maximum of 6 minutes if oral, or in multimodal form.
