Students who successfully complete the SACE are issued with the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).
All SACE students, both in Australia and internationally, study the same curriculum and complete the same assessments and examinations. All students also receive the same certificate, official documentation and are eligible for an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).
On completion of the SACE, students receive three documents:
The South Australian Certificate of Education – a certificate, issued by the SACE Board, which confirms the student's completion of the SACE requirements.
The Record of Achievement - a detailed transcript, issued by the SACE Board, of the student's results for each SACE subject and a grade on a scale of A+ (highest) to E- (lowest).
All students recording achievement in at least one subject, including those who do not complete the SACE, receive a Record of Achievement of their successful studies.
Additional information can be found via the Guide to SACE results [PDF 330KB]
A Tertiary Entrance Statement – issued by the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC). The statement includes the ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) achieved.
